The traditional outdoor vents require stronger ducts and components to support the pressure wave and flames trajectory from the explosion point to outside and bring limitations in terms of design, besides the cost associated with the length of the ducting.
Flameless Ventings are designed for indoor use, composed of several meshes of special steel. During the explosion, the flames are quenched quickly in the mesh filter and extinguished, no dust, flame or pressure wave exit the system. It does not only reduce the consequences of an explosion, but it also provides the highest level of protection for employees.
